A very beautifully and elaborately-stamped vintage Navajo

ingot-silver cuff bracelet, circa 1920’s-1930’s

This classically-styled and finely-crafted Navajo stamped ingot-silver cuff was made by an anonymous, but obviously very talented, Navajo silversmith at a time in the early decades of the 20th Century before Navajo jewelers began commonly signing their work. This man was clearly a master of stampwork as the beautifully-detailed and perfectly applied stamped designs on this cuff certainly demonstrate.

The bracelet measures 1” in width along most of its length tapering slightly at the terminals. The inner circumference end-to-end is 5 3/8” and the gap between the terminals is 1” for a total interior circumference of 6 3/8”. The bracelet weighs a substantial yet very comfortable 47 grams or 1 5/8 ounces and it is in excellent original condition, ready for another lifetime of wear.
