A Navajo Modernist silver ring with

a large and rare Bisbee turquoise stone, circa 1950’s

A stunning and sleek Modernist Navajo silver ring set with an absolutely gorgeous, large piece of high-grade Bisbee, Arizona turquoise. Bisbee turquoise is justly considered to be one of the finest and most desirable varieties of turquoise in America due to its hardness, its deep, pure, blue color and dark, smoky, almost purple-colored matrix. High-grade Bisbee turquoise is quite rare today, no more will ever very be produced and it is priced accordingly. We would estimate this large, prime stone (1 3/8” length, 3/8” width) to weigh between

10 and 15 carats which, in today’s market, would be priced at around $500 just for the stone. The ring is a size 7 ¼-7 1/2 and measures 1 ¾” in length.

The ring is in excellent original condition.

Price $875
