A striking pair of long Navajo silver and

red coral dangle earrings, c.1940’s-50’s

These earrings are unusually long and very gracefully shaped. Viewed from the front, they have a very lovely convex bevel or curvature to them along most of their length. The earrings themselves measure 3 1/4” in length from top to bottom, and they are a total of 4” long including the “drop” length of the silver wire hooks. The earrings are 1” wide at the bottom tapering sharply to 3/16” in width at the very top.

The earrings are decorated with beautiful, precisely-executed stampwork using interesting end-of-the-file circular stamps and they are set with lovely, matched, oval-shaped deep-red Mediterranean coral cabochon stones in finely-serrated silver bezels. Each earring weighs a comfortable 12 grams or 3/8 ounce. The earrings are in excellent original condition. They move beautifully and smoothly with the body. They are exciting and dramatic “statement” pieces guaranteed to turn heads whenever and wherever you wear them, from walking the red carpet to picking up the dry cleaning.
