A Fred Harvey Company-style large silver cuff bracelet and silver ring set with matching “Arizona Rainbow” petrified wood stones, circa 1940’s-50’s

this is an absolutely fantastic matched set with incredible stones possessed of a vividness and beauty of color that is very seldom seen. These stones perfectly evoke the ancient desert landscape of the Northern Arizona mesa and desert country where they are primarily found, in the Petrified Forest region located around and between Holbrook and Winslow, arizona. The silver is done in the typical Fred Harvey Company “Tourist” style with stamps of arrows, snakes and other motifs used by Harvey Company-employed Navajo benchsmiths in the mid-twentieth century.

The bracelet has an inner circumference of 5 5/8” end-to-end with a 3/4” gap between terminals for a total interior circumference of

6 3/8”.  It weighs 57 grams or 2 ounces. The ring is a size 5 3/4 and measures 1 5/8” length and 5/8” width. It weighs 9 grams or 3/8 ounce. Both the bracelet and ring are in excellent original condition. This is a striking and completely unique set which would be equally spectacular worn with an elegant black dress or with a white t-shirt and jeans.
