A lovely Navajo silver pendant set with

a rare Lone Mountain, Nevada spiderweb turquoise nugget, c. 1960’s

A really striking small gem of a pendant set with a beautiful, radiant, blue, gem-quality, high-grade Lone Mountain, Nevada spiderweb turquoise nugget. Lone Mountain spiderweb turquoise

is generally considered to be one of the world’s three or four finest and most desirable varieties of turquoise, along with Lander Blue, Bisbee and #8 Blackweb and high-grade examples

of Lone Mountain sell today for $75-100 or more per carat.

The pendant measures 1” in length including the bail and it is

1/2” wide at the widest point. It weighs a very comfortable

4 grams or 1/8 ounce. It is in excellent original condition and the silver setting features some very fine and delicate stamped detail.

We would estimate the weight of the turquoise nugget at somewhere around 6-8 carats, although it is impossible to know for certain without removing it from its setting. The pendant is presently hung on a black silk jewelry cord although it would look equally attractive on a silver link chain.

Price $375
