A Zuni Pueblo silver wire

cuff bracelet set with 26

matched turquoise stones,

circa 1930’s-1940’s

This is a beautiful and delicate bracelet which exhibits the highly-accomplished lapidary work and lean, clean silverwork that classic Zuni jewelry is so well known for. Zuni jewelers generally use no more silver than is required by the design where Navajo smiths tend to emphasize and “heavy up” on the silver considerably more.

The bracelet measures 1½” maximum width, with an inner circumference of 5 3/8” and 15/16” gap between terminals for a total bracelet circumference of 6 5/16”.

The bracelet weighs a very comfortable 31.9 grams or 1.13 ounces and is in excellent original condition. A subtle, beautifully-crafted and extremely easy to wear piece.

Price $675
